Dr Limkile Mpofu is a member of the ASFI Senior Assembly, a Chair of ASFI ambassadors, a member of the WEDU Leadership community, A Golden key International Honour Society member as validated by the University of KwaZulu Natal, a registered member of the Public Health Society of South Africa and a member of the South African Monitoring and Evaluation Association (SAMEA).
Dr Limkile is the Chief Operations Officer (COO) for Jaylee Group of Companies which incorporates the Professionals Pool pride for African Researchers. Mpofu has mentored more than 50 SMMEs under the Jaylee Group. She has served as a consultant for both non-governmental organisations, and public organisations for various programme reviews and evaluations and has done local and international consulting work, largely focusing on program design, Health Risk Assessment and Economic Impact Assessments, designing wellness models for the youths, as well as support to Research and Development (RD).
Dr Mpofu is also the Director of Research for the University of Africa (ARU) in Zambia, where she leads the Projects section and Grants for the University. She is also in charge of their Public Health Programme, working with the Chief Executive Officer to establish a Public Health school. She runs a Journal of the University as the Chief Editor and is in charge of the university’s institutional repository. Dr Limkile is also a supervisor for both master’s and PhD programmes. Mpofu is a reviewer of scientific papers in credible journals. She assists the university of Johannesburg with supervision of their MPH programme.
Mpofu is an alumnus of the Health Economics, HIV/AIDS Research Division (HEARD)’s SIDA Doctoral Programme in Health Psychology and Public Health from the University of KwaZulu Natal and University of South Africa respectively, where she obtained her two PhDs. She also has a BSc Honours in Monitoring & Evaluation, An MSc in Psychology (Mental Health & Wellbeing), MPhil HIV/AIDS Management and an MBA from the Universities in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
