With deep humility and immense pride, the ASFI Family is delighted to announce that the Humanity Flourishing Prize 2025 has been awarded to our own Prof. Bright Nwaru — the Founder, Visioner, and Benefactor of ASFI.
Announced during the virtual Humanity Day 2025 Celebration on 18th October 2025, this prestigious award honors transformative efforts that uplift and advance humanity. As five winners emerged from 24 global finalists — each announced one per hour during the six-hour event — the moment came when Prof. Bright Nwaru's name was revealed as the overall winner.
In announcing the award, I AM HUMANITY highlighted Prof. Nwaru's transformative work through ASFI with these moving words:
